Who is A Pocketful of Pi?

Jennifer grew up in the mountains of western North Carolina. She attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where she earned her undergraduate degree in Elementary Education (A.B.Ed.) as a North Carolina Teaching Fellow in 1995. After teaching in public schools and private preschools, and tutoring students in reading and mathematics for 19 years, she returned to school, earning a Master’s Degree in Education (M.Ed.) from Mars Hill University in 2016. Jennifer recently served as Math Teacher Leader at a university sponsored lab middle school before returning to the elementary level for a couple of years. Jennifer now serves as Math Transitions Coordinator and academic advisor at the community college level.
